Greek Inscription

Location

Within the first 10 minutes of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, you are shown a flashback which introduces you to Harry Flynn and Chloe Frazer. This introduction happens at a tropical bar in the distance when all 3 characters are sat around a table you can see a blackboard sign with chalk writing which says - 

πολύτλας διος Ναθαν - 

This translates to -

  • polýtlas dios Nathan (phonetic transcription)

  • polytlas Zeus Nathan (in English)

​

When translated further it means "Nathan The Great Sufferer" which links to the amount of loss and pain he deals with in Uncharted 2 and his unlucky habit falling down crumbling cliffs and broken buildings.

 

The Location of this Easter Egg can be found in Chapter 1 of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves in the background of the flashback scene when Nathan Drake, Harry Flynn and Chloe Frazer sit around a table.

There's a blackboard in the background which is placed on top of the bar which has the relevant Greek Inscription.
